Easyfit Access Doors are supplied in two distinct types, ‘Tabbed Access Doors’ and ‘Curved Access Doors’ depending on the application. Tabbed Access Doors are for use with rectangular ductwork, where the application surface is flat, Curved Access Doors are for circular ductwork. Either door will provide easy access to duct installations for inspection and maintenance.
Both door types have been pressure tested independently by BSRIA. They are suitable for low, medium or high-pressure applications, (to 2000pa positive). Tabbed access doors come with a fully Z275G galvanised steel coating as standard, or in stainless steel on request, including the locking cams and keeps which are made in house.
Easyfit access doors fully conform to BESA DW144 regulations and BS EN15727:2010. Both applications require no further sealant or extra fixings to produce an airtight seal. Rounded tabs are supplied for safety on the tabbed access doors, and they also come complete with a door retaining wire as standard. The wire is not designed to be used as the doors’ only point of support.
All stainless steel access doors are made to order, with sizes currently available up to 300 x 300mm
CAUTION, The retaining wire is not designed to be used as the doors only point of support.
